Keynote presentation at Automation of Software Test conference

Prof. Andy Zaidman from Delft Technology University delivered a keynote presentation at the 4th ACM/IEEE International Conference on Automation of Software Test (AST 2023) held on 15-16 May 2023 in Melbourne, Australia in conjunction with the 45th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2023). The presentation titled "Automatic for the People" addressed important challenges to achieve software quality in practice. In particular, with researchers and tool builders having made considerable efforts in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of testing, where should further investments be focused? The keynote considered the human aspects of software engineers or software testers in terms of what stimulates them, what blocks them, and what they need from tools, documentation, production code, or their team.
