Presentation at International Conference on Automated Software Engineering

Researchers from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and University of Sannio have presented at the 38th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2023) held on 11-15 September in Luxembourg. The presentation titled "Automated Identification and Qualitative Characterization of Safety Concerns Reported in UAV Software Platforms" addressed the challenges currently being faced by cyber-physical systems developers in delivering safety-critical systems. In particular, the main accidents and hazards emerging from safety issues reported in UAV software platforms. The presentation examined the different types of software bugs encountered in open source cyber-physical systems and the need for increased automation to monitor and address safety concerns within cyber-physical systems DevOps pipelines.
